JBD Hefei Factory Completely Capped to Achieve the Annual Capacity of 120 Million Micro LED Displays

On June 6, Shanghai Jade Bird Display Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as JBD) located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone Comprehensive Bonded Zone Project has preliminarily completed the main building of some plants, and the whole project is about to enter the comprehensive capping stage.
It is reported that the JBD Hefei factory project covers an area of 79 mu, with an initial investment of 650 million yuan and a period of 12 months. The operation of the Hefei factory will help JBD achieve an annual capacity of 120 million micro LED displays, meet the development needs of the blowout AR/VR industry, and jointly enable the development of the universe.

It is reported that JBD has completed hundreds of millions of yuan of A2 round financing, led by Tongchuang Weiye. The financing will be used for the R&D and mass production of micro LED micro display chips for AR applications. As can be seen from JBD‘s Hefei factory project, JBD is working hard to increase its power for mass production in order to meet the growing demand of near eye display customers.
