Two major product families and three major series of MCU brand new products bring a wider range of motor control solutions to the industry
Renesas Electronics (TSE: 6723), a global semiconductor solution provider, today announced that it will launch three new MCU product groups for motor control applications, including more than 35 new products from RX and RA families. These new MCUs expand Reza‘s excellent motor control product portfolio, including multiple MCUs and MPUs, analog and power solutions, sensors, communication devices, signal conditioners, and more.
Reza launches two ARM based models ® Cortex ®- M‘s RA family‘s brand new MCU product group. Among them, the RA4T1 product group can provide 100 MHz performance, as well as up to 256KB of flash memory and 40KB of SRAM; The new RA6T3 product group operates at a frequency of 200MHz and offers 256KB of flash memory and 40KB of SRAM. Both new product groups target motor control applications and have a series of outstanding features and functions, including Trigonometric functions units (TFUs) for acceleration, advanced ADC with integrated PGA, and a variety of communication interface options, including CAN FD. The Reza Flexible Configuration Software Package (FSP) can support these new products and easily port the designs of other RA products.
In addition, Renesa also launched a new RX26T product group from the RX product family, which operates at 120MHz and has up to 512KB of flash memory and 64KB of SRAM. They not only support 5V power supply, provide high noise resistance and control accuracy, but also provide TFU, on-chip timing, and interrupt control functions. Users who use the popular product RX24T MCU can easily expand their design to the new RX26T product, fully leveraging the advantages of existing design software while achieving dual improvements in performance and control efficiency.
