XMOS Launches XVF3800: High Performance Speech Processors Widely Used in Different Fields

Time:2023-08-13 Views:657
Helping optimize costs and shorten time to market for enterprise and consumer level conference system products
XMOS today announced the launch of its XVF3800 voice processor, aimed at providing high-performance and fast to market solutions for enterprise and consumer level voice conferencing platforms.
The XVF3800 processor supports a four way microphone array, which can help various conference devices, audio and video all-in-one machines, portable speaker phones, personal computers, game displays, and other display solutions pass Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification. XMOS provides the most advanced speech processing algorithms for conference systems, which can provide high-quality audio in complex noisy environments. The flexible architecture of the processor itself allows engineers to optimize specific acoustic characteristics based on the characteristics of their own products to achieve the goal of fully optimizing performance.
The main features of this product include:
Echo Cancellation (AEC) - Eliminates remote echoes picked up by the microphone, enabling the XVF3800 to extract clear speech signals even when outputted from high volume speakers
Adaptive multi-directional directional pickup - tracking static and non-static sound sources, identifying direction of arrival, isolating target sound, improving dual ended communication and de reverberation performance
    • Noise suppression - Eliminating diffuse noise sources (such as air conditioning, road noise, etc.) to achieve accurate and consistent speech capture
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) - ensures consistent pickup volume across different distances.
In addition to a dedicated microphone interface and support for two linear microphone arrays, the XVF3800 also integrates a USB2.0 interface and an I2S audio interface that can support 16kHz or 48kHz sampling.
The XVF3800 is currently open to early users and will be officially launched in the next quarter along with the development kit XK-VOICE-SQ66. This processor can support high performance while helping customers optimize system costs, based on XMOS‘s latest high-performance VocalFusion series algorithms and software packages.
Aneet Chopra, Senior Vice President of XMOS Marketing and Product Management, commented, "The working environment for modern workers is more diverse and flexible than ever before, so expectations for their communication tools have never been so high. Considering this, enterprise and consumer software providers such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom are raising standards to meet these expectations. We need to provide high-performance and easily integrated one-stop solutions to keep up with new product innovations and experiences
The XVF3800 provides reliable and cost optimized solutions for various diversified applications, providing the cost-effectiveness required to quickly and successfully bring innovative new products to the market
XMOS will present the XVF3800 at next week‘s Embedded World conference. If you would like to watch the presentation and discuss the voice processor in more detail, please click here to schedule a meeting with the team.
