Xidi Micro launches automotive grade low IQ synchronous boost control chips, leading a new trend in future power management

1、 Product characteristics
    HL8021 is a high-performance boost control chip that can drive synchronous boost N-channel MOSFET power devices and has a wide input voltage operating range of 4.5V to 40V. This design enables it to work stably in various environments, providing continuous and stable power support for application systems. When the bias pin of the controller is connected to the output voltage terminal, the controller can operate at an input power supply as low as 1V after startup, which greatly improves its adaptability in various complex environments.
    The switching frequency can be programmed through a resistor on the frequency programming pin, and its constant frequency current control architecture allows the device to synchronize with the external clock on the external synchronization input. This design makes it widely applicable in various environments that require synchronous operations.
    In order to optimize light load efficiency, HL8021 also provides three different operating modes - burst mode, pulse jump mode, and continuous inductor current mode. These working modes are selected and controlled through light load mode pin selection, enabling the device to achieve optimal work efficiency under different workloads.
    HL8021 has a spread spectrum function to reduce the peak of radiated and conducted EMI noise, making it easier for the system to comply with EMI testing standards. This operating mode is controlled by the spread spectrum function pin. An independent power pin, external power supply can be used to power the internal LDO of VCC. This key function provides a choice to reduce power consumption and improve overall efficiency, further enhancing its working ability in complex electromagnetic environments.
    The Xidi Micro HL8021 adopts a 16 pin 3x3mm QFN package, which is very suitable for applications in the automotive, industrial, and telecommunications fields.
