What is the difference between solar photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic modules

    Solar photovoltaic cells (referred to as photovoltaic cells) are used to directly convert the light energy of the sun into electrical energy. Ground photovoltaic systems extensively use silicon based solar cells, which can be divided into monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, and amorphous silicon solar cells.
    The solar cell module is composed of high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells, ultra white textured tempered glass, EVA, transparent TPT backplate, and aluminum alloy frame. It has the characteristics of long service life and strong mechanical pressure resistance.
    There are several structural forms of conventional solar cell components, including glass shell structure, bottom box type component, flat plate type component, and fully adhesive sealed component without a cover plate.
    In short, solar photovoltaic cells are the core components that make up solar photovoltaic modules. Solar cells are mainly divided into crystalline silicon and amorphous silicon. The main raw material for crystalline silicon battery cells is silicon (commonly known as sand or sand particles refined through a series of reactions), which is then divided into monocrystalline silicon and polycrystalline silicon according to different casting processes.
    Single polycrystalline silicon wafers and polycrystalline silicon wafers undergo processes such as velvet making, diffusion, etching, coating, sintering, and testing to obtain solar cells that can generate electricity. Amorphous silicon solar cells are mainly made of amorphous silicon compounds as substrates, and their market share is not significant.
    The core component of solar photovoltaic modules is battery cells. Simply put, the manufacturing process of a component is the process of assembling a patterned battery array using packaging materials. The mainstream battery layout includes 60 and 72 pieces, which are arranged in series with solder strips to form a square array.
    The packaging materials for solar photovoltaic modules mainly include backboards, EVA, transparent glass, aluminum frames, and junction boxes.
