CSM4054H

    CSM4054H is a complete high-voltage single cell lithium-ion battery with overvoltage protection, using a constant current/constant voltage linear charger. Its SOT23-5 packaging and fewer external components make CSM4054H an ideal choice for portable applications. CSM4054H can work with USB power supplies and adapter power supplies.
    Due to the use of an internal PMOSFET architecture and an anti reverse charging circuit, there is no need for external detection of resistors and isolation diodes. Thermal feedback can adjust the charging current to limit the chip temperature during high-power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The charging voltage is fixed at 4.2V, and the charging current can be externally set through a resistor. When the charging current drops to 1/10 of the set value after reaching the final float charging voltage, CSM4054H will automatically terminate the charging cycle.
    When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power supply) is removed, CSM4054H automatically enters a low current state, reducing the battery leakage current to 2 μ Below A. CSM4054H can also be placed in shutdown mode to reduce the power supply current to 55 μA. Other features of CSM4054H include a charging current monitor, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharging, and a status pin for indicating the end of charging and input voltage connection.

    Note: To avoid the CHRG pin LED indicator light turning on when the VCC voltage is higher than 13V, the power supply of this indicator light can be connected to the BAT terminal in the application, thereby avoiding the LED indicator light turning on when the VCC voltage is higher than 13V.

    Note: To be compatible with the low-voltage version of CSM4054 PCB, the CHRG pin LED indicator light is connected to the VCC end. At this time, when the VCC voltage is higher than 13V, the CHRG pin LED indicator light will light up. To ensure that the chip is not damaged within the working range of 0-40V, R1 resistors should be selected with a resistance value greater than 1k. In this application, it does not affect the chip usage and LED indicator status under VCC 5V power supply, and does not affect 28V hot swapping.
